Argentine legend Lionel Messi will not participate in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
According to Fars News Agency, Javier Mascherano, coach of Argentina’s Olympic team, announced the final squad for the Paris 2024 Olympics, excluding Messi from the three overage players allowed. This confirms that the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner will miss the tournament.
Messi previously participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where Argentina won gold. Currently, Messi is competing in the 2024 Copa America with the World Cup-winning national team
