The Serbian National Olympic Committee has announced that Novak Djokovic will compete in the 2024 Olympics
According to Tasnim News Agency, the Serbian National Olympic Committee confirmed that Novak Djokovic, the 24-time Grand Slam champion and current world No. 3 in men’s tennis, has committed to participating in the 2024 Olympic Games, set to be held in Paris, France
Currently, the 37-year-old Djokovic and 33-year-old Dusan Lajovic, ranked No. 56 in the world, are listed as Serbia’s singles representatives. Both players have confirmed their participation in these games, as officially stated by the Serbian National Olympic Committee
Earlier in June, Djokovic suffered a knee injury during the 2024 French Open (Roland Garros) and underwent surgery for a meniscus issue. His participation in the 2024 Wimbledon Grand Slam remains uncertain
