JJ Redick new head coach Los Angeles Lakers
According to Tasnim News Agency, the Los Angeles Lakers have appointed TV analyst and former NBA player JJ Redick as their new head coach. The 40-year-old Redick, who spent 15 years playing as a guard for the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers, has been working as an analyst for ESPN and notably has no prior coaching experience.
Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka commented on Redick’s selection, saying, “JJ is a fierce competitor with exceptional basketball IQ and a deep understanding of the modern game. He brings energy to the players and excitement to the fans.”
